Art of Budtending online course

Budtenders are the public face of the cannabis industry, both catering to the knowledgeable and guiding the uninitiated. Our course takes you from basic service principles, like greeting and getting to know your customer; to more advanced techniques, like closing a sale or promoting add-ons. Whether you are an expert or a novice, Art of Budtending will expand your own familiarity with cannabis growth, curation and use. Additionally, you will learn best practices, ethics and legal requirements expected of you on the front lines of this new market.

Not unlike sommeliers or baristas, budtenders will also be expected to describe the product they are selling in various ways. Students will be taught to understand the subtle (and not-so-subtle) differences between strains, THC:CBD ratios, consumption methods and much more. Upon successfully finishing the course, you will have a capable understanding of the diverse world of cannabis effects, benefits and features.

Once you achieve a passing grade of 80% or higher on the course quiz, we will issue you a Certificate of Completion-- a valuable addition to your resume, social media profile or any list of professional qualifications.
