The Final Report of the Task Force on Cannabis Legalization and Regulation
The Government's Task Force on Cannabis Legalization and Regulation released their final report today. These recommendations are not binding but will be used as the foundation for the cannabis legalization legislation tabled in Spring 2017.
I am pleased that there is a section on workplace safety that shines the light on the lack of test available to confirm active impairment. The report recommends immediate funding and research into instruments for measuring impairment. This is largely due to impaired driving concerns and will benefit workplaces too.
I find the report to be comprehensive and balanced. Access it here.
